Dairy-Free, Raw Ice Cream


Ok! Bad picture! It was evening, and it was metling. I had very little lighting, but wanted to capture it. You'll have to trust me..It was GREAT! Some time back, I did a post on  how to prepare ice cream using a juicer and blank plate. It's been awhile since I pulled out the old Champion...but I'm sooooo glad I did. Last night I literally threw together some Blueberry Banana Coconut Ice Cream. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

Sesame-Almond Milk (Dairy Free)

 There is practically nothing on this Earth as yummy as fresh Almond Milk...(okay, well maybe Coconut Milk). Once you realize how easy this is to prepare, you can begin creating variations, adding even more nutrients and flavor to this remarkable beverage!  Today I prepared Sesame Almond Milk and it is delicious! Apple Walnut Muffins - Gluten-Free

Served warm from the dehydrator, these muffins are very reminiscent of the SAD (Standard American Diet - aka BAKED) version. I didn't make them too sweet, and sunflower seeds can have a little bite, so sweeten according to your taste. I love the "Autumn Spiciness." Drizzle with raw honey, cashew cream, or your favorite fruit "syrup"...oh, and some raw ice cream - HEAVEN!

Muesli Breakfast Mix - "Cream of NO-Wheat"

I'm in LOVE with this delicious blend. Just so you know, some of these ingredients are not raw. Feel free to substitute with a sprouted/dehydrated version. It's Winter on the East Coast, and popped Amaranth and toasted sesame seeds bring out the flavor in this mix! This is one of the tastiest mixes I've made and a favorite in our home.

Fig Halvah (Sesame) Smoothie


"Open sesame"—the famous phrase from the Arabian Nights—reflects the distinguishing feature of the sesame seed pod, which bursts open when it reaches maturity. 

Growing up, Halvah, (a ground sesame paste, fudge-like snack), was a huge treat in our household, and I've always loved the flavor and consistency. This smoothie is very reminiscent of  my favorite childhood treat.

Pecan-Carob Maca Milkshake

Oh Yum! Thank you Living Tree Community for another fantastic product. Of course this is lick-off-the-spoon-fantastic, but I was in a hurry and wanted to toss together a quick, satisfying beverage. I didn't quite measure everything, so amounts are approximate, but this is so reminiscent of a frothy milkshake. Feel free to adjust as needed.

Dairy-Free (Mocha) Almond Yogurt


I was inspired to revisit almond yogurt when a client asked me to prepare some for her. I had forgotten how easy it was. Once the plain yogurt was made, I moved on to Mocha Almond Yogurt. What a delight! I even added some leftover Water Kefir I had in refrigerator, along with probiotic powder. I didn't quite measure things exactly, but will list to the best of my ability. Enjoy!

Rawfully Tempting Herb Stuffing

Our monthly potluck/demo is tomorrow evening, and I wanted to create something fabulous  for our pre-Thanksgiving celebration. This stuffing is superb and can be ground into the most amazing "bread crumbs." Totally dry it makes a great munchy mix. Rehydrate it or only partially dehydrate it, for a soft, fluffy stuffing. I'm loving this recipe and the house smells so good too!
