Italian Herb Bread
I've told you just how much W and I loved my "Rye" Bread project. Well, as much as I love that bread, it doesn't go with everything. We had Wild Mushroom Burgers one night, and they definitely did not go well with "Rye" Bread.
Modifying my Rawfully Tempting Basic Bread Dough recipe, I created this very tasty Italian Herb Bread.

Carrot Cake
My first attempt at a moist, rich carrot cake creation. My "professional taster", W LOVED it. I don't use a lot of sweeteners, but I think this one needs a little more "sweets" than I added. Otherwise, the texture and flavor are fabulous. I'm excited to get a texture so close to the SAD version.

Irish Moss Paste
I've been including Irish moss paste in many of my recent recipes. This ingredient was very intimidating to me whenever I'd see it posted, and as a result, would avoid the recipe. I've decided to do a post on this product to eliminate any anxiety you may have that prohibits you from trying this amazing product. It is really worth looking into and I hope this posting helps.

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Smoothie (Green)
Simple, delicious and easy to make. You all know how much I love chocolate and not so much a fruity person, but I wanted to try something new today using my incredible strawberry extracts. You can use fresh strawberries or any extract you normally use, but this was just F I N E!

Cheezy Red Pepper Kale Chips
Who would believe it? KALE chips, seriously?? From collard greens or kale? Yup! Most experienced raw foodies are already familiar with these amazing treats, but if you are new to raw, you have GOT to try these FANTASTIC chips! They make an awesome transition food when you are craving something to munch.
When we first started eating raw, W had been asking for crunchy - well, we now have crunchy, and depending on the recipe, we even have cheezy!

Chocolate, Coconut, Nut Butter Fudge Pudding
Made this for a friend who's coming over tomorrow. I try to eat some form of chia almost every day, whether it's in my smoothie, or in a pudding. This dessert is creamy, thick, rich and satisfying and super healthy. Read more about the benefits of chia seeds here.

Chocolate Fruit and Almond Bark - Still in Love...
...with and drooling over more chocolate I haven't really cared for the results of chocolate made with only coconut butter, so I've worked with some different ingredients, including some cacao butter, cacao paste and lecithin. I also used hazlenut extract, because I love hazelnut and chocolate. This is a WINNER! August 10, 2010
Thai Coconut Curry Hummus
Several days ago, I had to attend a funeral and wanted to bring an appetizer for the gathering back at the house. I decided to make hummus. I ran out of tahini in the middle of preparation, and quickly opened a new jar, stirred it up, and added it to the blender. Big surprise - it wasn't tahini that I had opened, but coconut oil!!! NOW WHAT????
I had a mixture of cashews, tahini, garlic and coconut. What on earth could I prepare with those flavors? So this past Friday, I created a Thai Coconut Curry Hummus. My non-raw friends loved it and I've been promising to post this recipe for days.
