And That's a Wrap!!! - A Coconut Wrap(per)!!!
If you have a dehydrator and have access to young Thai coconuts...these are a breeze. If not, there are certainly other ways to make wraps, but I was focusing on quick and easy with the tools I have. Delicious and super light! Continue to dehydrate, and instead of a flexible wrap, you have a light, crunchy snack! Switch up seasoning and create something sweet, savory and/or spicy! The variations are limitless! I chose a Chipotle Wrap below...

Sprouted Cinnamon Grammy Crackers for Big and Little Kids
As a proud Grammy, caring part time for my grandson, I've decided to create new food ideas perfect for toddlers and their mommas. I'm thrilled to present this amazing nutrient-dense treat. Not a Mom or baby? No worries...you'll enjoy these too! It's NUT, Dairy, Gluten and Sugar FREE! Don't have a dehydrator? Try a low temperature oven..I like to use a dehydrator and I've not personally tried it, but I can't imagine it would be difficult.

RT's Quick and Easy Cranberry Relish
Enjoy the day, eat as healthy as you can and you'll be happier the next day...but enjoy whatever it is you decide to eat...JOY and gratitude are most important tomorrow!! There is no room for guilt. Besides, it won't change anything. Decide ahead of time what you plan to eat and then let it go. I give thanks to my friends and loved ones, near and far and send love to all of the amazing people in my life that are no longer with us. I know they will be with us in spirit. Blessings!!!!

New York "Egg Cream" - Rawfully Tempting Style
Who remembers New York style Egg Cream? My mom prepared these for us when we were younger using seltzer, chocolate syrup, vanilla extract, and milk. I think the original recipe was made with egg, but ours never had egg in them. This was just a quick and yummy beverage Mom whipped up! Well, I'm so excited because I created
a HEALTHY ALTERNATIVE that is so very reminiscent of this childhood elixir!!! When I took my first sip there was an
instant recognition...and flashback. I gave a sip to W and asked, "What does this remind you of?" Not being from NY, he sensed it was familiar, but did not grow up with it. If you lived on the East Coast in the
60's...when the soda man actually delivered the seltzer bottles to your
home, then you know what an Egg Cream is...

Dairy-Free, Raw Ice Cream

Ok! Bad picture! It was evening, and it was metling. I had very little lighting, but wanted to capture it. You'll have to trust me..It was GREAT! Some time back, I did a post on how to prepare ice cream using a juicer and blank plate. It's been awhile since I pulled out the old Champion...but I'm sooooo glad I did. Last night I literally threw together some Blueberry Banana Coconut Ice Cream. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

Fig Halvah (Sesame) Smoothie

"Open sesame"—the famous phrase from the Arabian Nights—reflects the distinguishing feature of the sesame seed pod, which bursts open when it reaches maturity.
Growing up, Halvah, (a ground sesame paste, fudge-like snack), was a huge treat in our household, and I've always loved the flavor and consistency. This smoothie is very reminiscent of my favorite childhood treat.

Chocolate "Peanut Butter" Ice Cream
A good basic chocolate ice cream recipe. This is rich, creamy and very satisfying. Instead of cashews, try pili nuts!!! (Or mix cashews and pili nuts).
Don't have young Thai coconuts? Try Coconut Cream Concentrate and water. Once you get a nice, thick creamy consistency in the blender - follow any of the options for making ice cream and you should have a delicious dessert to share with your loved ones!
