Chocolate Kale Crunch
CRUNCHY! DELICIOUS! NUTRITIOUS! Not for the faint of heart! This treat is super crunchy and chock full of kale and therefore, probably best saved for those more experienced healthy eaters....but it is delicious!!! Feel free to spice it up even more! Get your greens on!!!
This can be made in a low temperature oven too...I’ve just not tried it. Comment below if you give this a whirl!

BananaFanna Almond Fudge Bar
Ohhhh my! What could be better than banana, nut
butter, and chocolate, combined in a bar????
I love these, and my grandkids LOVE them too. It’s a great nutrient-dense treat to include in their packed lunches for school or daycare!!!
Use your creativity and swap out a few ingredients. Add a dash of cinnamon and pinch of cayenne for more depth of flavor. Increase melted cacao for a more fudgey version. It’s all good!
Comment below if you plan to try this, and let us know how it turns out!!!!

Waffle Cone Ice Cream Rolls
I’m super excited about this new treat! This does require some preparation, but since they are frozen, you can make a large batch and have them on hand. Ok, I can’t promise they’ll stick around long...but they are worth the love put into preparing them. I served these at my chiropractors’ office and wish I had gotten video of the smiling faces as folks tasted these precious bite-sized delights! Let’s get started!

Pizza Kale Chips
While in the dehydrator, my kitchen smelled like a pizzaria!!! Amazing!
These are delicious and I can’t wait to serve them tomorrow!!! Next time, I’ll make my Rawsages recipe, and crumble that on top of these chips....mmmmmmm!
I hope you enjoy these as much as we do. Feel free to bake inborn if you don’t have a dehydrator. Preheat to 220 degrees F.....bake for 30 minutes, keeping watch so they don’t burn.

Choco Fudge Wafers
I made these lil treats for my grandsons...but I really love them. I’ve also made them like Oreo cookies with a cream filling....but here’s the simple version.
Adjust ingredients to make more or less sweet. Taste batter as you go along, and adjust. Like them chewy? Dehydrate around 12 hours. Want them crunchy? Dehydrate at least 24 hours, possibly longer, depending on humidity in your home and other factors. These are delicious.

Living Tree Smoothie Spectacular
One of my favorite online stores, Living Tree Community sent me a lovely sample pack of their vibrant living butters. Yesteday, although it's really easy, I wasn't in the mood to cut open a coconut, and opted to create a spectacular blend of these delicious ingredients without having to make a nut milk or coconut milk base. I have to say, everything from this store vibrates with LOVE...and this smoothie, was indeed SPECTACULAR. Turmeric Butter, Mesquite, Maca and extracts are always optional, but take some time to read about them. The added flavors are great, but they are also super nutritious! I suggest you try some of these products...but if you don't have them available, improvise with almond butter, or any combination of nut butters that seem to go well together. This is one of my quick and easy smoothies..sort of a "cheater" smoothie..making nut milk using butters and water..no straining, no mess.

Pecan-Carob Maca Milkshake
Oh Yum! Thank you Living Tree Community for another fantastic product. Of course this is lick-off-the-spoon-fantastic, but I was in a hurry and wanted to toss together a quick, satisfying beverage. I didn't quite measure everything, so amounts are approximate, but this is so reminiscent of a frothy milkshake. Feel free to adjust as needed.

Dairy-Free (Mocha) Almond Yogurt
I was inspired to revisit almond yogurt when a client asked me to prepare some for her. I had forgotten how easy it was. Once the plain yogurt was made, I moved on to Mocha Almond Yogurt. What a delight! I even added some leftover Water Kefir I had in refrigerator, along with probiotic powder. I didn't quite measure things exactly, but will list to the best of my ability. Enjoy!

(Gluten Free) Coconut Zebra -Striped Cookies
What started out as an attempt to modify a macaroon, turned into a delicious, crunchy coconut almond cookie. These cookies are very light, a little dry, and as crunchy as you want - Just dehydrate them longer. Want them chewy? Pop cookies in freezer and don't dehydrate at all, or dehydrate for a couple of hours to set the chocolate stripes. Change up the extracts and you can prepare these in almost any variety. Fabulous from bowl to plate or dehydrator to dish. You decide!

Banana Nut Flatbread - January 2014 Newsletter
I've made quite a few flatbreads over the years, but to date, this is my all time favorite. It's so tasty, that you don't need to put anything on it. However, add some nut butter or raw cheese and sliced apples, for a really special treat! These are great for any road trip, and I plan on taking them with me to the Living Raw Expo in LA! I hope you enjoy this recipe. Please sign up for our barely monthly Newsletter so you don't miss any upcoming recipes.

Raw Gingerbread Cookies
What is this magical holiday season without Gingerbread Cookies? Feel free to use this recipe and make Gingerbread Men too! I'm packing these up in gift bags for family and friends, If you don't have a dehydrator, just freeze them, and eat as is or bake carefully in low temperature oven.

Brownie Cake with Mocha Almond Fudge Cream
Okay you gluten-free, dairy-free, health nuts...I purchased these cute molds and wanted to try something super decadent. Drooling yet? If you don't have access to this type of mold, no worries...use the cake recipe as a deep dish crust and fill with the Mocha Almond Cream. You may have some extra brownie cake batter - SHUCKS! Eat it as is, freeze it in small molds for a fun frozen treat, or create little brownies with cake mixture, stuffed with cream and dehydrate for a several hours. Decadent AND nutritious. No bake...no guilt.

Caramel Sauce
This sauce is very reminiscent of caramel topping that I used to love to drizzle over ice cream sundaes. I've recreated this luscious topping and have used it on brownies, granola bars, cookies, raw ice cream...or just licked it off the spoon. If you want the sauce to stay liquid, follow directions below. If you want it to be more solid when it dries, add melted cacao butter to recipe, apply to dessert, and let chill. This is on the sweeter side. Adjust your sweetener as needed.

Nuts! - All About Almonds...
I'm happy to say the hunt for quality organic, unpasteurized almonds has finally ended. While the USDA prohibits the sale of unpasteurized almonds, if you are diligent, there are options, and you can still find good quality almonds. You may have to order them online, (if you don't have a roadside almond grower nearby), but it's worth it. I want almonds that are truly alive, or why bother? I'm checking out almonds from different suppliers/farms/handlers, and I'll keep you posted on my findings.
