What are Medicine Flower Extracts?

Medicine Flower has agreed to sponsor a group of Giveaways on Rawfully Tempting. They are giving away one bottle of their amazing extracts each week for 8 weeks. I've not seen anything anywhere that compares to this product line.

Read on for more information about these superb, organic and raw extracts...

Medicine Flower extracts are:
- available in over 40 scrumptious flavors
- wheat and gluten free
- great for culinary, scent, and cosmetic applications
- processed using extraction without colorants, fillers, diluting agents or preservatives- super concentrated. You only need a few drops to flavor anything from shaved ice, tea, coffee, drinks to ice cream, desserts and smoothies

At first glance, these products may seem a little pricey, but because they are so concentrated, a little goes a VERY long way. Several of my readers have purchased these extracts, and have reported back with as much enthusiasm as I have. They are just simply wonderful!

Make  your green smoothies even GREENER! I've been having a blast with these, trying to find interesting ways to use them. My smoothies have never been tastier or greener. I'm often concerned with using too many fruits or nuts, and not enough greens. Well, bring on the G R E E N S!  Add a bit of your favorite fruit, water, and compliment your smoothie with just a few drops of pure Medicine Flower Extracts. DELICIOUS!

In my green smoothies, I'm actually cutting down on calories and sugar normally associated with fruit,(not to mention the cost) and enjoying tantalizing flavors without guilt! You can't even imagine how much more incredible a green smoothie tastes with just a few drops of these blissful elixirs!

Add one drop to your drinking water or sun tea, along with some ice, for a refreshing summer drink! These superb quality extracts are also suitable for scenting massage oils, balms, bath oils, soaps and candles.

Whether you are into raw cuisine or just a die-hard foodie, you will LOVE this product.

Check out their site, and drool over their many sensational products. If you've already used these products, feel free to tell us about your personal experience in the comments below this post.

Yesterday, I simply put 2 DROPS of Vanilla Extract and 1 DROP of lemon extract in 40 oz of water. It was so delightful, such a pleasant, smooth flavor. It's a combination I'd have never thought until I had this product. I feel like a food chemist..ahahah..mixing and matching. Such fun!

I received the coconut extract. OMG! It is absolutely wonderful. I put a drop on vanilla ice cream, then I put some in water, then I put some in my salad dressing. i believe there is no end to what one can do with this extract. Tomorrow I'm going to try it on avocado and then almond butter.

I've been playing with my strawberry extract and so far I love to put it in plain kombucha (just a couple of drops transforms it!) I've also put some in smoothies and in a raw berry jam to punch up the flavor. It's really nice...no weird aftertaste, just deep strawberry goodness. I highly recommend it! I can see now how this little bottle is going to last forever and is actually well worth the price.

BTW, I also have the Dark Chocolate at home and although it sometimes has an odd taste to me, I've found that less is more and just a couple of drops in a blender definitely adds the right amount of chocolatey-goodness to smoothies and shakes, especially when I'm trying to avoid caffeine and use less cacao powder. I'd like to try the Light Chocolate too and compare. If anyone tries the Light Chocolate, pls comment and let us know how you like it.

I've now also bought the Green Apple and Coffee extracts.
Green apple was awesome in a green smoothie that I froze into popsicles for my kids. They loved it, especially my son (who I try the hardest to get greens into! yea!)
Coffee isn't as strong as the Dark Chocolate so I used more drops but the flavor is nice. Tasted great in a raw "frappucino" with almond milk, cacao powder, ice, etc.

I also bought the Light Chocolate and Cherry -- will be looking to try those out soon too! (That Cherry is planned for another popsicle that has beets blended in :)

I attended Medicinal Flower presentation last night... and guess what:

I walked away with 8 bottles of flavors! Plus I have 3 other flavors at home already!!!!!!

I could not get over the distinct pronounced clean fresh flavor smell especially in

***Orange and Strawberry! and and Coconut!

I was just envisioning a Coconut Cream Pie with it.... I made the pie several times and it's always ''delicious''' but somewhow always lacked the 'coconuty' smell taste to it... NOT IT'S GONNA ''GOT IT''' whoah... I was ready to purchase like 10 bottles...... but Alysia reminded me that only a few drops goes a long way......

When Carmi was here we did a Strawberry Shortcake....''it'' was absolutely delicious but now I can smell taste the Strawberry part more flavorful!

Suzi made a Strawberry Pudding yesterday....so Alysia gave her the Strawberry Sampler to add a few drops to her pudding and whoah Suzi was impressed and I got to admit her pudding tasted good all the time every time before.....

and I specifically got Kiwi and Green Apple as I got this 'recipe' in my head for drinks..........so now I got something to play with.....

Happy Extract Camper
