Hazelnut-Pili Nut Chocolate Crunch

Looking for a refreshing replacement for chocolate that still gives your mouth that happy, rich, creamy, satisfying feel? Pricey, yes, and I only had a 6-ounce bag to play with, but pili nuts are the balm!!! Oh the things I would create if I had a few pounds of these!! Simply Mahvelous Mocha Ice Cream

I couldn't wait for this to freeze, and ate it as soft-serve.  I am not even a coffee drinker, but am constantly using my Medicine Flower C O F F E E extract.  W brought me home a bottle of coffee extract from Whole Foods to compare, since it's a fraction of the price. I can't even bring myself to use the other bottle. One whiff from the bottle tells all. There is NO comparison between the two. I LOVE this stuff! They are super concentrated, so you only need a few drops.

Double Fudge "Peanut Butter" and Banana Layer Cake

I made one of these for an Anniversary cake and another one for a dinner party. Didn't they come out so pretty?

The frosting and filling came out extremely tasty!!! Both cakes disappeared very quickly. The Anniversary couple had some leftover to share with their family. Hopefully they enjoyed it too! This is a bit of a project, but I've tried to break it down step by step. You can do it!

Gourmet Hazelnut Coffee Elixir

OH MY GAWD! I did a taste test this morning and here are my findings:  While I LOVE the taste of coffee, I don't drink it, never got hooked on it, but love the flavor and scent. I like it, but it does not like me. However, I LOVE grinding fresh, gourmet coffee beans every morning for my man, and inhaling the aroma. I brew a pot of his favorite beans, a custom blend that I create. So, I recognize and appreciate really good coffee!
