Sprouted Kamut - Sausage and Pepper Bread

Sprouted kamut bread is really filling and chewy, and the most reminiscent of any non-raw(SAD) food I've ever prepared. And... W LOVES his sandwiches.

This sandwich is topped with a delicious Walnut Pate.

Sausage and Pepper Bread
Use recipe for  Rawfully Tempting Basic Bread Dough as the starter dough base, which contains: sprouted kamut, sunflower seeds, oat groats, apple or zucchini, ground flax, onion and a few other goodies.

Suggestion: Add 1 cup thinly sliced marinated and/or lightly dehydrated peppers and 1 clove of crushed garlic. I also added 1/2 cup of  crumbled Rawsages  to the mixture and came up with this very hearty bread recipe. You can truly add any marinated veggies or herbs you like to the base bread dough. I encourage you to experiment! Divide the dough in smaller portions and try different variations with each portion.

Click on this picture and look at the lovely texture of this bread! LOVE IT!

Using the same recipe, I formed a 2 small bun halves. This took much longer to dehydrate, but W liked the feel of it. It was thicker and chewy.
